As a small herd of deer was enjoying it's warm afternoon in the sun, grazing at the luscious grass and basking in the heat, they were blissfully unaware of a pair of optics that lay in the shadows watching their every move. The icey eyes blinked for a split second before focusing back on their target, the only emotion that lay behind them was pure bloodlust. Khaos stood crouched, downwind, with every muscle tensed, ready for the kill. As a drop of saliva escaped from between his clenched fangs and onto the shaded earth, the black brute leapt from the shadows and began to lazily chase the creatures. He snapped at their heels, taunting and teasing as he chased them with ease before finally putting one out of it's misery. With one swift movement, he rammed into the male, pushing it down to the floor with little effort before snapping down his glistening fangs on it's neck and ripping it apart. A wide, salmon pink tongue ran it's way along his fangs as it savoured every drop of blood before Khaos began tearing at the carcass, laughing at the creature as it's hind leg twitched. Too soon he had finished this pathetically small meal and lay chewing the nutrients out of a leg bone. His need for violence was quenched, for now. Getting to his paws, Khaos flung the bone to one side and padded towards a calm part of the river to cool off. Trotting into the clear water, he began to roll around in the deep water which barely seemed to cover his ebony body. Stopping to look casually round, he shook every drop of moisture from his pelt, little splashes emerging all around the brute as he moved. Soon he paused to lower his crania and allow his tongue to lap up the moisture, removing any last traces of blood from his maw. When finished, Khaos lifted his strong head and placed his rump in the water. Man this place is boring. His thoughts were moaning as the loner sat in a shallow part of the river.
