‘Where in the hell am I’ It seemed to echo through his head several times, his wide paws only carrying him further and further into the lush foliage of the forest. ‘Who am I’, he asked himself, ears swiveling back and forth as he ponders on his many questions. He wasn’t one that talked to himself usually, but, today was different. The entire day he hadn’t felt like things were quite right. Almost as if he were out of place in the previous lands he lived in. Something had driven him here. An unknown force or something, a invisible pull of gravity. His yellow eyes gleamed, glancing frantically around the moon lit forest. His heart beat faster as he felt he was nearing his destination. He wasn’t sure what to expect, yet what did that matter? All that mattered was getting there. Briskly, he quicken his pace, well conditioned muscles moving beneath his pelt, pulling him forward. His paws slap the earth, leaving a shallow indention within the earth as if he mark his very existence. Hackles rose upon his back as he came to a large clearing in the forest, yellow eyes scanning the towering stones that formed a circle. Slowly, he stepped inside the circle, turning and allowing his eyes to scan and inspect each odd marking. He didn’t understand, at least, not right now. After looking through four of the stones, he stops at one in particular. It looked almost like a flame of some sort. Squinting, he walks closer, startled to see it starting to faintly glow. ‘What the’, he thinks to himself, head tilting. Suddenly, there was a large crash like sound that shook the whole stone, sending sparks in his direction. Jumping back, he yelped, watching his once white pelt become engulfed with flames. Oddly enough, it didn’t hurt. In fact, the feeling was amazing. His yellow his glazed over with a blue film while his pelt turned to many hues of reds. After several minutes, the fire subsided, leaving him standing there, larger and more colorful then before. It was as if he were a completely different wolf. He looked entirely different and felt different. Something catches his eye on the ground in the grass that was singed in the grass. ‘Phoenix’ he repeats in his head. Blinking, he understood. Not only had be been given a different appearance and outlook, he was also given a new name. Inhaling, his lungs burn as he feels the fire burning within. Lifting his blunt muzzle, he has the urge to howl. He wasn’t sure why, he just knew that something or someone was telling him to. So, wish this, his jowls part, chest rumbling as he releases a thunderous howl.

White = Spoken Italics = Thoughts Gold = Actions/Other F L A N E R YThe angel pelted queen sauntered through the dense forest with her head held high. The call hit her auds like a trumpet in the night and she was up and running within the second of it. Her enflamed tail and neck billowed in the breeze and lit up the night like a beacon as she continued her journey to the Circle of Stones. Her long tail lashed out behind her as she was careful not to set any of the foliage on fire with her passing and her sterling silver orbs reflected the moonlight shining down upon her. I wonder who could be calling at this time of the night. Flanery was rarely seen out and about at night, as it was her element's weakest point in the day. And as soon as the very first rays of light came over the horizon, she was up and about.
Her silver orbs solidified into icy shards instead of their normal heated, liquid look as she saw the Fire Stone not too far off. Her steps were silent as she approached like a pale ghost in the night before the newcomer. Hmm, not submitting already? I suppose I won't hold it against him this time. . She stepped forward, staring at him as she spoke. Submit before your queen, if you wish to join my pack, that is. She stood tall and proud over the newcomer with not quite an emotionless look to her, but something told him immediatly that she was more than your average elemental.

The fire within his burned rapidly as he inhales, catching the scent of a female wolf. Not just any female, but one like himself. Her scent was strong and a bit tangy, which only meant that she was strong. Whether it was a physical strong, or a mentally strong, he didn’t know nor would he wonder. Shaking his head, he sends his fiery pelt into pulsating ripples, ice like blue eyes gleaming as he watched a light make it’s way through the darkness of the forest. Tall ears perk forward upon his skull as he shifts upon his paws, muscles tensing beneath his fur as his hackles rose in mere caution.
Upon seeing the female erupt from the brush, he was simply mesmerized. She had the purest white pelt and bands of yellow upon her sleek legs. Her eyes, silver, where stunning to look at. But knowing that looking into the eyes of another wolf right off the bat was dangerous. Therefore, he looks down, lowering to his paws he moves forward, nose touching her chin in mere respect. His tail bushed and enflamed, he closes his eyes. “My queen, I have called to ask you to join your make,” he says lowly, his voice deep and slightly romantic in tone. “I’m dubbed Phoenix,” he growls once more before backing away and resting his eyes upon her elegant form.

As she stood over him, she observed his actions. Hackles rose, averting eyes, nose touching her chin, bushed tail, growl. She raised one invisible eyebrow at his form of greeting. Phoenix, I am not positive that you understand how things work in this part of the world, or at least my pack. A full submission is needed before you are even considered being allowed to join my pack. Belly up, neck exposed. She instructed the outsider. She saw something different in this wolf than she did in others that she had been around. Potential, yes. I shall see how this goes. . Whether he merely did not know about pack proceedures, for he looked quite young, or he was just ignorant enough not to even think about following them. This was his final warning. She waited for his response with hardened eyes, showing neither approval or disapproval at his actions.

His oceanic gaze drifts to the side as he stand to his paws, ears perking forward as ponders in thought for words. Slowly, a grim smile grows across his muzzle as he averts his gaze upward toward the queen. “I apologize,” he growls simply as he stands there. “I have never truly had the intentions of joining a pack, that is, until now. So, you see, I have never really had a true encounter with such power,” he says as he swiftly drops, exposing his stomach along with the tender underside of his throat. He was vulnerable right now, completely at the dealings of this female. But, what else what there for such a wolf as her?
With a wag of his tail, he looks up, smiling. “Better,” he asks, ears perking upward as he continues to lay there as if waiting for a belly rub.

She eyed him as he smiled and spoke once more before flipping himself to the ground before her paws. She watched him for a moment, taking as long as she wanted before simply replying. Very well then. Welcome, Phoenix, as a member of ame en Fue. She turned quickly, flames billowing as she did so and began to trot away before stopping and craning her head back to him. "I suggest that you learn the rules of this game called life, dear. Or you'll lose as quickly as you begin it." She warned him with a cautioned look before turning back once more and bounding off into the dark forest, only the faint light of her flames were seen fading into the distance.

His blue eyes watched as she vanished in the dark of the night, only the flames of her tail to be seen. For now, he would sit and attempt to get used to the constant burning that dwelt inside him. Besides, he could easily follow her scent. Sighing, he exhales, watching as large clouds of steam bellows from his black lips. Grinning broadly he then decides to lift to his paws, allowing his muzzle to taper toward the earth. Inhaling, he follows the queens scent, jogging forward with ease as he silently followed her to the pack territory. For now, he had only been dubbed an Omega, but, that would surely change. He would make sure of it. Although he didn’t know much about the pack life right now, he was a fast leaner.
Muscles move with ease as continues along, hot pads leaving paw prints singed in the earth. There was one thing for sure. He was be glade to leave that place and travel to another. This time though, he was traveling to the pack lands he would call his home.
O O C:: I shall post in the pack lands now. (:
